Course Overview

The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Program is a globally recognized professional credential offered by the CFA Institute. It is designed to provide finance and investment professionals with a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills. The program is divided into three levels, each progressively more complex, covering a broad range of topics essential for investment professionals.

CFA Level I

The CFA Level I exam is a computer-based test that focuses on basic knowledge and comprehension of investment tools and concepts. The exam consists of two sessions, each lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes, with a 30-minute optional break between sessions. Each session contains 90 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), making a total of 180 questions. Each MCQ is free-standing and not dependent on other questions. All questions are equally weighted, and there is no negative marking. The CFA Level I exam is offered four times a year in February, May, August, and November.

CFA Level II

Eligibility Criteria of US CMA Course

Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Alternatively, candidates can have a combination of four years of professional work experience and/or higher education.

Professional Work Experience: Candidates without a bachelor’s degree can qualify with a minimum of four years of professional work experience. This experience does not need to be investment-related but should be full-time and acquired before registering for the Level I exam.

Enrollment and Membership Requirements: Candidates must enroll in the CFA Program through the CFA Institute website and become a member of the CFA Institute. They must also adhere to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
