CA Inter Course

Course Overview

Follows the CA Foundation level, advancing into intermediate studies.
Comprises two groups, each with distinct subjects.
Involves subjects like Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Law, Taxation, etc.
Offers an in-depth understanding of accounting, taxation, and business laws.
Prepares students for advanced professional challenges.
Tests candidates through both theoretical and practical aspects.
Requires effective time management and diligent preparation.
Aims to develop analytical and problem-solving skills.
Acts as a bridge between foundation and final CA levels.
Nurtures expertise in finance, auditing, taxation, and corporate law.

Eligibility Criteria of CA Inter Course

The eligibility criteria for the CA Inter Course are as follows:

CA Foundation Qualification: Candidates who have successfully cleared the CA Foundation examination are eligible to register for the CA Inter Course.

Direct Entry: Graduates or postgraduates in commerce with specified percentages or candidates who have completed the Intermediate level of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) can directly enter the CA Inter Course.

Registration: Students can register for the CA Inter Course after passing the CA Foundation examination or meeting the direct entry criteria.

Validity of Registration: The registration for the CA Inter Course is valid for four years from the date of registration. If the registration expires, it can be revalidated for another four years by paying a revalidation fee.

Documents: Candidates need to submit necessary documents such as CA Foundation mark sheet, graduation/post-graduation certificate, direct entry proof, and other required details during the registration process.

Subjects

The CA Inter Course comprises the following subjects, divided into two groups:

Group I:

Advanced Accounting (100 Marks): In-depth study of complex accounting concepts, including group accounting and special transactions.
Corporate and Other Laws (100 Marks): Understanding legal provisions, regulations, and governance structures for businesses.
Taxation (100 Marks): Comprehensive knowledge of income tax, GST, and other tax laws applicable to businesses and individuals.

Group II:

Cost and Management Accounting (100 Marks): Exploring cost analysis, budgeting, and management decision-making using accounting information.
Auditing and Ethics (100 Marks): Studying principles of audit, risk assessment, and ethical considerations in auditing and assurance services.
Financial Management and Strategic Management (100 Marks): Covering financial decision-making, strategic planning, and management techniques for effective business operations.
